Blue Plaque, Norman Lockyer Observatory, Sidmouth, Devon

This observatory is situated on Salcombe Hill. Link This plaque relates to Sir John Ambrose Fleming (1849-1945), inventory of the diode radio valve, pioneer in wireless technology. He was a friend of the observatory and lived in Sidmouth.
