THE STATION WAS ESTABLISHED IN CO-OPERATION WITH
THE AUSTRALIAN DEPARTMENT OF SUPPLY BY THE UNITED
STATES NATIONAL AERONAUTICAL AND SPACE ADMINISTRATION
FOR THE EXPLORATION OF DEEP SPACE FOR THE BENEFIT OF
ALL MANKIND.
