Miracles on Maple Hill

This plaque commemorates local author Virginia Sorenson's 1957 Newberry Medal award winning book "Miracles on Maple Hill" which tells the story, from a little girl's perspective, of her father's PTSD healing over a year of spending time living in rural Pennsylvania.
