Newcastle-under-Lyme: 26-28 High Street (detail)

Newcastle-under-Lyme Civic Society installed this plaque on 28 High Street to commemorate the lives and contribution made by the Wain Family in preserving the town’s character and promoting its prosperity. For many years this building was Clement Wain’s Chemists. Clement "Jim" Wain was a founder member of the Civic Society. The building itself is at Link.
