Olympic Memorial Hospital

OLYMPIC MEMORIAL HOSPITAL  Olympic Memorial Hospital is located on property that was originally set aside  for hospital purposes by President Abraham Lincoln on June 10, 1862  The land-was officially granted for a hospital by President Harry S. Truman in 1948.  The Hospital building was erected by the citizens of Clallam County as a  memorial to all those who served in the armed forces of the United States  and was dedicated in November of 1951 as a community hospital  "existing to serve us for recovery and comfort in illness.
