Plaque erected in 1959 by the people of Bermuda in commemoration of the 350th anniversary of the wreck on a Bermuda Reef of "Sea Venture" Captain Christopher Newport, Flagship of Admiral Sir George Somers, whose fleet sailed from Plymouth Sound on 2nd June 1609.
