Plaque on a rock near Lumb Falls, Crimsworth Dean

The Elmet Trust have installed a plaque on a rock above the waterfall. A photograph taken at this beauty spot just before the First World War inspired Ted Hughes to write a poem called 'Six Young Men'. According to the poem all six died in the war. The plaque was installed in November 2007. Link
