Plaque on Newlay river bridge

One of two plaques (see SE2336 : Plaque on Newlay Bridge for the other) on the bridge SE2336 : Newlay Bridge over the River Aire. Presumably Pollard Lane that leads down to the river on the south side of the valley is named after this benefactor.
