Rye: the water tower plaque

An interesting plaque in Church Square, alongside TQ9220 : Rye: the water tower, giving various snippets of historical information about the tower. It finishes with the phrase, "The exact date of the finishing of the tower is not recorded but seems to have been in 1735."
