The Deep Pitch of Her Blades Shows the Thrust Required

This propeller served the deepsea tug “Samarinda” in the trans-pacific trade.

Cast from five thousand pounds of solid bronze, the deep pitch of her blades shows the thrust required in heavy ocean towing.

Many thousand miles of ocean have passed these blades in the service of our maritime trade.
