The Hepworth Wakefield - footbridge 1

Pedestrian access to the Hepworth from Thornes Lane, (where the car park for the gallery is located). The footbridge crosses the River Calder. Re the plaque in the pavement:- Wakefield’s Hollywood-style walk of fame aims to recognise the national achievements of residents past and present, by placing plaques of the stars along the route from the Bull Ring to the Waterfront in Thornes Lane. One of the first stars is for Barbara Hepworth the sculptor.
