Welcome aboard
USNAS NEW YORK
Between 1941 and 1972 Floyd Bennett Field served as Naval Air Station New York. During this time it played an integral role in the defense of New York City and our nation. Members of the United States Navy, Naval Reserve, Marine Corps and Waves served at Floyd Bennett Field during three wars, helping to preserve our democracy.
We gratefully remember the accomplishments of these men and women and all who serve our nation in uniform.
Proudly presented to the National Park Service by the N.A.S. New York Reunion Association on the 75th anniversary of Floyd Bennett Field.
