The stone plaque which had previously been laid in the pavement at the end of Warren Street SJ8990 : Lancashire Bridge has now been placed on the side of the new bridge parapet SJ8990 : Lancashire Bridge. It reads: LANCASHIRE BRIDGE WIDENED 1891 MAYOR ALD.Wm LEES J.P. CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEE ALD. JOHN McCLURE J.P.
